AVEVA says Q4 pipeline solid

AVEVA says Q4 pipeline “solid”Schneider Electric reported results today which mean that AVEVA also released a teeny earnings announcement. More on Schneider Electric later; AVEVA said it had seen revenue growth in the “high single-digits” on an organic, constant currency basis over the last 10 months. (A weird number, I know, but AVEVA’s fiscal year ends on March 31; today, Schneider Electric reported for the period ended December 31. That 10 months takes AVEVA from the start of its fiscal year in April to January 31, the period about which Schneider Electric is likely to face questions on earnings calls today. Anyway.)

Q4 was off to good start, AVEVA said, with the order pipeline for the remaining weeks of the financial year called, “solid”.

One last thing: China. AVEVA reminded investors that China accounts for 5% of revenue and that travel restriction and office closures due to the coronavirus “is having some impact on sales in that country”.

AVEVA usually announces results in May, so we’ll learn more then.
