Getting started with Generative Design

Oct 9, 2018 | Hot Topics

I get so many questions about technology directions, from people who want to know what to learn to get that next job, from companies that want to be sure they’re not on the bleeding edge but also not falling behind, from investors who want to know what a particular technology’s impact and adoption might be … and, of course, from software developers who want to know how they stack up against their competitors.

Aside from IoT (which isn’t a single thing, but that’s another topic), the MOST common topic is generative design. What is it, how does it work, what does one need to know to use it, will it replace human designers (NO!), which is the best solution on the market (TBD, come back in 5 years) …

I’ve partnered with Cadalyst to explain all of this and more in an paper that you can download from their site, here. You will need to register with Cadalyst, but it’s quick and painless.

And if you haven’t tried generative design, why not?
