Earnings quickie: Nemetschek beats even revised targets
I’m at SolidWorks World, so this has to be quick: Nemetschek today announced preliminary results for Q4 and 2015 that showed its momentum continued into the fourth quarter. Total revenue for the year was €285 million, exceeding both original and revised (upwards) targets for the year — in all, up 30% from 2014. Organic revenue was up 14%; Bluebeam contributed the rest.
For Q4, revenue was up 22% to €79 million, with 16% organic revenue. Again, Bluebeam and other acquisitions accounted for the rest.
Nemetschek Group Spokesman of the Executive Board Patrik Heider said in prepared remarks that this was the “most successful financial year in our company’s history. Not only did we achieve all-time highs in terms of revenue and earnings, beyond that we also extended our global presence, further improved our market position and again proved our expertise as a globally leading provider of Open BIM solutions. In parallel, with our future-oriented investments, we have laid the foundations for further growth.”
We’ll get details on Thursday, March 31, 2016, when final results are released. It’ll be interesting to learn if Bluebeam is opening new opportunities for the other brands, and whether the continued pull for BIM is spreading to new markets.
Earnings really get going this will, with Dassault Systèmes reporting on Thursday and Hexagon on Friday. But first, time to see what more SolidWorks peeps are up to. You can register for a live webcast of the keynotes here.
