Ed Miller: An appreciation

I received word today that Ed Miller, President of CIMdata, has died after a relatively short illness. I have known Ed for many years, as engineering software analysts tend to travel in packs to vendor events around the globe. Ed was funny, charming and, above all, smart. He always had a good question, a quick retort or an interesting story to share. Analyst events will seem emptier without him.
