I don’t usually promote vendors’ marketing materials, but this one is just too good to pass up. Sun Microsystems and AMD have teamed up to sponsor HPC for Dummies, an ebook in the famous yellow and black Dummies series. You do need to give some contact information and install Adobe’s Digital Editions product in order to read the 50-odd pages, but it’s not too sales-y for an advertorial and has solid explanations of HPC concepts and technologies.
