Nemetschek Q4 up 26%, F14 up 18%, ahead of forecasts

Nemetschek Group, parent company of Nemetschek, Graphisoft, VectorWworks and other brands, just announced that it blew past forecasts to close out 2014 on a very high note. Q4 revenue was up 25.7% to €65.0 million on organic growth of 12.6%. Total revenue for the year was €218.5 million, up 17.5% year/year as reported and above the top end of prior guidance. The company says that preliminary results show organic growth of 10%, meaning that the Bluebeam and DDS acquisitions contributed around €14 million.

Patrik Heider, Spokesman of the Executive Board and CFOO of the Nemetschek Group said in prepared remarks, “[w]e achieved an extremely positive final quarter and exceeded our forecast targets for the fiscal year … We have already successfully reached our declared inorganic growth targets within the scope of our newly defined acquisition strategy: With investments in megatrend collaboration and in internationalization with a focus on the US market”.

We’ll know more about how the company managed to blow past forecasts when the company releases final figures and guidance for 2015 on March 31, 2015.

DS and Hexagon report later in the week and SAP holds a Capital Market Day tomorrow. As you know, PTC’s December quarter results were OK, but beset by currency headwinds and a tough comparable a year ago. Since DS and Hexagon are both predominantly Euro-based, currency should work in their favor. But we’ll see, won’t we?
