Let’s not make more of this than we know, which isn’t much; Hexagon CEO Ola Rollén has been detained while under investigation for insider trading stemming from his personal investment process. Hexagon says that Mr. Rollén’s lawyers believe that “the charge is based on a misinterpretation of the factual and legal issues in the matter.” Hexagon’s CFO and Executive Vice President Robert Belkic is currently acting CEO.

Melker Schörling, Hexagon’s Chairman of the Board, said, “I have complete confidence in Ola Rollén. During 16 years of close collaboration, I have never had to question his judgement.” Hexagon’s statements also say that the Board of Director’s has full confidence in Mr. Rollén and that he will resume his position as CEO as soon as the detainment ends, on or before November 4.

Hexagon continues to release information about this, here.
